How to help you write reports

Introduction

Hi guys and welcome in my new video!
If you're new here, my name is Daphnee Leclerc and I'm a student in Police Technology.
I'm currently at my second year in this program and I love it. Police Technology is a formation to learn how to become a great police officer. The courses are composed of simulations on the job, physical training adapted to the program, Law, Psychology and much more. My training is for a period of 3 years and after that I can finally apply to the last formation in Nicolet, the only school in Quebec that allows you to become a police officer.
I chose this career path because I want to make a change in people's life. I want to be there in the good and bad moments people can go trough to help them getting through it. I always liked helping people, as much as my friends than either people I don't even know. Also, serving the community to make our daily environment we live in safer is something that gets me a lot.

The Problem

In this career you must know that you will have a lot of reports to write and to read. Also, you will need to interact with people that may not speak your language. Some may be English and as we all know, most of the population of Quebec's province is mainly French so it may be difficult for some police officers to make their reports or to interact with people.

The Quest

The thing is, I found a website that I surely think could help current or future police officers with the daily reports and interactions.
So to get to the website, you have to go on the internet and write on the search bar « Virtual Writing Tutor ». After that, you can click on this website.

As you can see by the logo on the top, we're on the good website.
There's so many features on this website but in our case we only need the grammar and punctuation tools.
So to explain to you how the website works, you can see under the logo the navigation menu that can guide you trough the website. Under here, you can see the instructions that explains how to improve your texts.

The Solution

For example, if I write just here: « Indeed, the conductor of the vehicle was aggressive and uncooperative » with some errors, you can find your errors after by clicking first on the « Check Punctuation » box. As you can see here, it gives you a feedback with the type of error you made and a suggestion to improve your text. After that, you can change your error and look at your grammar by clicking on the « Check Grammar » box. As you can see here, it also gives you a feedback with the type of errors you made and how you should write your word.

The Conclusion

I hope you liked this video! Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe to my channel for new tips.
