Introduction

Hello, my name is Félix, I am 19 years old and I am currently studying at Ahuntsic College. Rightnow, I am studying in police technology and I just started my second year out of three. By studying in this program, I will become a police officer. Most police force in Quebec require you to be regular police officer that patrols the road for at least 5 years before trying to specialise in something like becoming a detective, a sergeant or to join the GTI which is the tactical force.

The Problem

A concrete problem that would face a police officer is to have grammar difficulties because we have to write on a daily basis a lot of reports AND traffic ticket that require a grammatical and spelling correctness

The Quest

I found a website during my English class that can help you solve the problem of making grammatical and spelling mistakes in reports and traffic tickets. To find the website write into the google search bar the url virtualwritingtutor.com . On the website you will find many useful tools. First of all, the most important one are the one located in the middle of the screen. the word count is pretty self explanatory, the check grammar is to find your grammatical mistakes, the check writing is to make sure you didn’t make any spelling mistakes, the check target structures is to check for comma-separated lists of words in a text. Furthermore, you can use the tools at the top of the screen in the middle of the screen to make blogs, glossaries and way more

The Solution

To fix the problem of making grammatical and spelling mistakes, just write in the text box the ticket or report you are writing. For example, I wrote a report with multiple grammar and spelling mistakes. After writing it, just press the button spelling check. Now use the scroll bar to go all the way down. At the bottom you will see all your errors with the suggestions.

Thank you for watching, now you know how to fix the problem of making spelling mistakes in a report or traffic ticket.
