How to use the Virtual Writing Tutor website.

Introduction

Hello, friends. I have got a great video for you today. For those of you who don't know about me, my name is Benjamin, and I have been a student at Ahuntsic College in the Social Science program for 3 years now. I applied for the Psychology program in University because I want to become a Border Officer for the Government Of Canada and learning Psychology will help in my career.

The Psychology course can be challenging from time to time. Long reading sessions, hard words, bad comprehension etc... Practice for most of these challenges can solve them but the Virtual Writing Tutor can come in handy and save you time for some of your embarrassing spelling mistakes on your assignments. It can also help you understand hard words that you will see in various books and lessons.

The Virtual Writing Tutor website help me see minor errors that I wouldn't see if it wasn't for the website. It made me have better grades and be more aware of my embarrassing errors.

My goal is to demonstrate to you how to use the website for your hard words or vocabulary errors in your assignments.

Get ready to be amazed on what this website can provide for you and your success.

The Problem

Let me explain the problem. For a new student in Psychology, it is hard to memorize all the words and some of them can be very difficult to pronounce or to write. Even for the not so new students, spelling mistakes happen and can be frustrating after seeing the correction. It is essential to have correct grammar while handing your assignments to your professor.

Making a lot of spelling mistakes or grammar mistakes can be embarrassing and it can make a bad impression of yourself to your teacher. Also, making mistakes or not understanding difficult words can make you lose points and get a bad grade which we don't want.

For example, if you need to make sure that you have no spelling errors or that your sentence makes sens, the Virtual Writing Tutor is the perfect tool to help you achieve all that.

To solve this problem, I have the perfect solution, and I will show it to you now.

The Quest

First off, open your browser and type the URL: www.virtualwritingtutor.com in the address bar at the top of the page and if you type it correctly, you will see this page opening.

Once you arrive on the website, you will see in the top right corner some social media platforms that you can share the website to. A bit above the middle, you can see the navigation menu that will help do all sorts of tasks that we will see later on. On the right side, you have a little microphone that will help you see if you have the correct pronunciation and just underneath the microphone you have a little speaker that will help you ear how to say a word properly. In the middle of the screen, you have a text area. This is where you enter a text that you want to be corrected.

The Solution

Now I will show you where all the magic happens. First off, you will enter the sentence you want to correct or the hard word you want to define in the middle part where you can enter a text. For example, I enter the sentence : The patient suffers from psycotic conditions. This may be a common phrase that a psychologist would use in a statement. To check if there is any error in this statement I simply click on the Check Grammar button and the trick is done. As you can see, I have made a spelling mistake in the word psycotic. It shows the instructions to write the word the correct way and that is with a h between the letter c and o like the website shows. I can also check if I say the sentence correctly by clicking on the speaker icon in the bottom right corner of the text area.

The Conclusion

So, if you are in Psychology or a related field, that's how you solve the problem of a complicated sentence or word to write.

To finish off, I want to thank you all for watching my video and I hope I helped you make your job a bit easier!
