Hi my name is Aurelie Linteau. I am currently studying in Paramedical emergency care program to become a paramedic. Also, next year, after my graduation, I've decided to study Nursing to become a nurse, at Montmorency. I will have too different part-jobs at the same time because I could not choose which one I preferred, because I love both.

In these jobs, it is important to be professional and when nurses and paramedics write their reports, it is important not to have mistakes in it. So, if you want to become a paramedic, I know that you want to look professional and write good reports to have proof of the treatments you have made in your interventions.

I know I made a lot of mistakes when I was writing in the past few years, at school in my evaluations but I've improved since then.

I now have good grades because I know how to correct myself properly.

My goal is to demonstrate that you can do this too and improve your grammar when you write.

Let me explain the problem. During my internships, I've noticed that some of the nurses and paramedics had difficulties writing error-free reports.

It is unprofessional and if you have a complaint in the future, it could turn against you!

For example, suppose you want to win against the person who made the complaint, your errors will make you look unprofessional and it is really bad for you.

However, it is not impossible to improve that and I will show you the great solution.

The website is The virtual writint tutor! You just have to write this name in your browser and you will see this logo appear on the left-hand corner of your screen.

After that, click the name of the website and you will see a blank space appear in the middle of the screen, like me. There are different little buttons on top of the box that you can use whenever you want. For example, you have the vocabulary section where the website can help you check the level of the words you wrote. Also, there is the check grammar section that we are going to use today to demonstrate that this website can help you correct the errors you make after you type your text.

Now, we are going to solve the problem I talked about earlier. First, you have to right the sentence or the paragraph you have written and that you are not sure is grammatically correct. For example, I will write : The patient had cianosis on his left hand and feets. After that, click on the check grammar button and that way, you can see a box with a robot appear with the feedback. When you have taken in consideration the errors, you just have to correct your sentence directly in the box on top of the screen. When you did so, you just have to click again on check grammar and you'll be happy to see that there are no mistakes left.

I promised that I would show you how to correct yourself when you write your reports in the future to look professional and that is what I just did!
