Hi and welcome to all of you, my name is Louis Fortin and I'm a CEGEP student at Ahuntsic College. I am studying in the cinema program. For those of you who don't know about this program, it involves to work with the camera and to understand how to use it in a proper way. It's really not an easy job when you are a beginner. It takes time to be good at it and to know to use it correctly. This is my last semester before University and my goal is to continue in the cinema field for my future job. My field job is about the cinematography, and we need to know a lot of new language and words and sometimes it could get difficult to understand everything so let's have a lot at it together.

We all need to make sure that we use the best tools at school, right?

I'm maybe not an expert, but I have done a lot of work in this domain and I'm good at it.

When you enter this field you may find the language difficult to learn and to pronounce. It's totally normal that while a shooting or during an event you don't know how to pronounce different words. It's essential and imperative that you listen to me how can I help you.

First open your browser and type www.virtualwritingtutor.com and after this hit enter. When you are on the site, you can now have access to a lot of useful things.

In the top right corner you can see how to share the website to anybody. In the middle of the screen, you can see what the Virtual Writing Tutor is about and you can learn a lot of things. In the top left corner, you can click on the logo anytime to go back on the principal menu. In the top of the middle of the screen, you can see a search bar where you can write everything. This search bar can be useful for checking if you have mistaken in your sentence and you can even check if your pronunciation is correct. Yes, you heard me correctly, if you write your sentence or word in this text area and you click on the microphone icon's, you can hear the correct pronunciation.

Now, if you want to know how to write and to pronounce correctly "call sheet", you just need to write the word on the writing area and click on enter and on the microphone icon's. With this you can be better with the pronunciation. So, now when you don't know a certain word and you surely don't know how to pronounce it, you know where to go.
