Hello everyone and welcome to my channel! My name is Hadassa Alliance, and today I'm going to show you a useful website that helps me throughout my first and second year in Multimedia Integration Technique, Coddy Tech.
I'm studying in Multimedia Integration Technique, to one day become a UI/UX designer. For those of you who don't know about this career let me explain it briefly. It is basically a designer who builds digital products like websites and mobile apps that are easy, useful, and pleasant to use. Of course, there are numerous other paths going from a more artistic side like video-game designer to full-on programmers.
However, although I enjoy the creative side of multimedia it's essential to have skills in programming, even though it can sometimes be difficult to understand. To add to that, there are so many languages in the programming world, and it keeps on coming.
For example, languages like Html, CSS, JavaScript, Python all got to be incorporated into your brain.
Therefore, I tried multiple solutions to learn more easily. In those things Coddy Tech was an angel sent from heaven. I found this website while scrolling on Instagram by a content creator who recommended websites, and I will show you how to use it.
You can access it by typing "coddy.tech" into your browser´s address bar. From there you can click the start button in the middle of the page. It will ask you a bunch of questions, and you can finally register. You will also have to choose the coding language you want and how much time you want to practice. Now let me show you how the website works.
First, we can see the logo in the top left corner of the screen. There is the navigation menu on the left side of the screen with cute little icons on each in-page tab. At the footer menu, when you click-left on "profile" at the end of this page you will find the setting menu. In the top right corner of the screen, you will see four icons. Those are accordion buttons who basically tells you in what languages you're studying, how many days you practice in a row, and how many tokens and energy you have left. Now that I told you about all the important features of this website, we will try one lesson as an example.
When you select a lesson, on the left side of the screen a short explanation of the subject you're studying will appear. When you finish reading it, you can click "start the quiz" in the middle of the screen. The website gives you coding exercises to complete, so you can practice what you just learned. On the right side of the screen, you can write your code and "run" it to see if it works properly by clicking the button in the bottom right corner of the screen. In programming, to run the code means to tell the computer to read the instructions you wrote and execute them step by step. As you complete each level, you will build real programs while learning how to code.
Allowing beginners to learn by practicing multiple programming languages quickly instead of only reading explanations as I demonstrated earlier.
Again, thanks for watching and remember to click that subscribe buttons if you like this video.
