How to Use Virtual Writing Tutor to Improve Dental Writing

Introduction

Hello everyone! Welcome to my video. My name is Thomas, and I am a Natural Sciences student at Ahuntsic College.

I think everyone deserves good dental care and clear information about their health.

English writing can sometimes be difficult for me, especially when I need to use scientific vocabulary.

I study biology and chemistry, and these subjects are important for my future studies in dentistry.

My goal is to show you how Virtual Writing Tutor can help future dentists improve their English writing.

Follow my tutorial and learn how to use this website to correct your writing mistakes.

First, I will explain the problem, and then I will show you how to correct a dental report step by step.

The Problem

Future dentists need to write clear reports and understand medical information. Sometimes, writing in English can be difficult for students.

Grammar and spelling mistakes can make a dental report difficult to understand.

For example, a student may write, “The patient have pain in two tooth.” This sentence contains grammar mistakes.

In this video, I will show you how Virtual Writing Tutor can help you find and correct these mistakes.

The Quest

First, open Google and search for Virtual Writing Tutor. You can also type virtualwritingtutor.com in your browser.

On the website, look for the text box where you can paste your paragraph. You can then use the grammar checker to review your writing and look at the suggestions.

The Solution

First, I will copy my dental report and paste it into the text box.

My original sentence is: “The patient have pain in two tooth.”

Next, I will click on the grammar checker and review the suggestions.

The correct sentence is: “The patient has pain in two teeth.”

“Has” agrees with “patient,” and “teeth” is the plural form of “tooth.”

Now, I can copy the corrected sentence into my report. This makes my writing clearer and more professional.

Virtual Writing Tutor can help me improve my grammar, but I must still check the accuracy of the dental information myself.

The Conclusion

Today, I showed you how Virtual Writing Tutor can help future dentists improve their English writing and correct mistakes in a dental report.
