At the top, there is the address bar where you can type in the URL. In the top left corner of the screen, you can see the logo with the navigation menu. If you want to share this website on Twitter or Facebook, you can do it by clicking on the icons in the top right corner of the screen. In the middle of the screen, there is the text area, where you can put your text. On the right-hand side of the screen, there is a microphone. You can talk through the microphone and your words will be written in the text area. For example, if I press on the microphone button and I say, "International Studies", the system will write it down for me. This website has many instructions on how the different tools such as the grammar checker, the spell checker and the target structure checker work. You will need to scroll down to see it.

Let's say, I am sending an email about Canadian's foreign policy. I would like to write a sentence that says " The changes made in the foreign policy will have an impact on immigration." I can put my text in the text area here in the middle of the screen. Then, I click on check grammar to see if I have made any mistake. As you can see, if I scroll down I am able to learn lots of information. For example, I have forgotten to capitalize the first word of my sentence and I misspelled the word policy. Virtual Writing Tutor tells me my word count, my paragraph count and my error density. This website gives me feedback and suggest other options. After correcting my mistakes, I click on check grammar again to ensure that everything is perfect.
