Hi, my fellow artist and welcome to this video! My name is Isaac Lafortune and I'm a young Canadian who's living in Quebec. I'm a student at the CEGEP of Sherbrooke on the program Arts, Literature and Communication: Media. For those of you who don't know about Arts, Literature and Communication: Media, I'll just explain what this program involves. We take courses in visualization (video, photographic, etc.), linguistic and arts which teaches us a lot of information and help for the Universities or your future career.
We all have difficulty when it times to write something in another language. Literally everybody wants to make a good impression for a boss and no one wants to be misunderstanding. And when it times to write a text or a resume in English don't you think it's better to have the right word with the right autograph?
I'm not the best student in my class, but I'm certainly in the top 10.
In fact, the majority of grade's that I got, since my first years in high school, are between 70% and 100%, which is not bad for someone like me.
My goal, on this video, is to show you solution for your writing.
So, make yourself comfortable and stay right there.
After that, you will have all the tools you need to helps you in English.
Let me explain the problem. As soon as you graduate of Arts, Literature and Communication : Media, it won't be rears for you to work in English and so, write in English. However, now that you are on the professional life, you have to have a top-notch writing. Yet, it's not something that everybody can expect.
If you don't solve that problem, your going to make bad impression of you and maybe lost some very good agreements.
For example, suppose you are a screenwriter in Quebec and you need to write the script for a Hollywood movie. Well, the producers and the actors have to understand what you have written on the script. Yet you have a problem : it's difficult for you to write correctly in English. So, what can you do?
Well, if you follow this step that I'm going to show you, your problem would be solves.
First, open your browser. Type virtual writing tutor.com into the address bar and hit enter. If you typed correctly, you would see this page.
In the top left corner, you have the logo of the website which is also the home link. Below that, you have the navigation menu. On the navigation menu, you have the Writhing Tools section for helping you to write a good job interview, for example. In the middle, you have the text area, where we are going to work on, and above that, you have the tools for your correction.
Now, I's I said, we would use the text area and the correct part above it to solve the specific problem I mentioned before. So, to correct your text it's super easy. Write your words, sentence or paragraph in the text area. After that, you click on the Check button you want. For example, if you want to check the grammar of your written, you click on the Check Grammar button, scroll down and correct your error. You can do that for all your text.
I promised I would show you how to correct sentences or paragraphs for a professional work, and I did it using the website Virtual Writing Tutor.
