It's an amazing program to learn Psychology, Sociology, politics and even more things, all related to human behavior and social interactions. With this program, you can be a psychologist, a lawyer or an entrepreneur. Personally, I want to be a psychologist which is basically a specialist of the human brain that helps people with mental health issues to get better.

You need to be good at grammar and spelling when studying in psychology with all the essays that we need to write.

Since English isn't my first language, I already know I'm not the best at writing which makes it challenging to have good grades.

With a lot of motivation, I could still improve a lot better my grammar and spelling mistakes. An example, last semester I got 93% in my final writing exam.

My goal for this video is to show you a good way to correct your spelling errors for your future essays with an online grammar checker.

Imagine that you got a hundred for your content, but it got you a 70 because of your spelling mistakes.

Don't worry! I'm going to show you how not to make that happen.

First, open any browser and type following the URL, virtualwritingtutor.com, into the address bar. After hit enter and if you wrote it correctly, you should see this page.

In the top left corner, you can see The Virtual Writing Tutor's logo. Right below, you can see the navigation menu. If you click on "Writing Tools", you will see how to do a glossary or a screencast. On the top right, you can see a menu with information about this page and just on the left, you can see your profile. If you scroll down, there is more information about the website. The most important part is in the middle, where you can see a text box to write your essay whether it's a sentence or even just words. In the text box, the microphone icon is useful to test your pronunciation and the speech button to listen how to pronounce words.

After writing a sentence in the box, let's take this sentence as an example, "One of the most common reasons people refer to a psychologist is because of their anxiety" I wrote, "anxiety" but with an "a" instead of an "e", you need to click on "check grammar". If you scroll down, you can check for errors, and if it's the case, you can look at which word his incorrect. It will give you feedback, the error type and suggestions on how to write it correctly. After that, you solved your grammar problem.
