I know that many students struggle when learning new scientific or technical words.
Sometimes, the vocabulary in science textbooks is very hard.
I’ve been there too, and I completely understand how confusing it can be at first.
When I started my studies, I had a lot of trouble understanding the technical words in my courses.
But with time and practice, I worked hard to improve.
That experience helped me realize that learning vocabulary is one of the most important parts of studying engineering and many other domains.
I’m a student in the Natural Science program, and I’ve been studying for two years now.
My goal is to become a future electrical engineer.
In my program, I take courses in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and many of them are connected to electricity and technology.
This is why understanding technical terms is essential for success in this field.
The goal of my project is to help students understand the difficult terms used in electrical engineering, so they can feel more confident in their studies.
I created a glossary that explains the most important words in electrical engineering in a simple and clear way, with easy examples that anyone can understand.
This glossary can also be useful for people who are curious about electricity or want to study engineering in the future.
In this video, I’ll show you how this glossary can help you learn faster, understand your courses better, and even enjoy reading scientific texts.
In my field, we often read complex textbooks full of technical words like voltage, resistance, or current.
These words are used all the time in physics and engineering.
Without understanding these words, students can get lost during lectures, make calculation errors in labs, or even misunderstand how circuits work.
This makes learning more stressful
For example, when I first learned about Ohm’s Law, I didn’t really understand the difference between voltage and current.But once I learned the definitions clearly, everything started to make sense, and solving problems became much easier.
That’s why I decided to create this glossary — to make electrical engineering terms clear, simple, and easy for everyone to learn.
To make my glossary, I used a free online tool called Virtual Writing Tutor.

This website is very helpful for students who want to improve their English writing or pronunciation.
Once you’re on the website, click on “Glossary Creator” at the top of the page.
You can add your vocabulary words, their definitions, and examples.
You can also use the grammar checker to correct your writing and your pronunciation
Here is my glossary: it’s called “Essential Glossary for Electrical Engineering.”
It includes important words like voltage, current, power, and resistance.
Each word has a definition, an example, and sometimes a picture or explanation to make the meaning clear.
For example, Voltage means the difference in electric potential between two points.
It’s like the pressure that pushes electrons through a wire.
Current is the flow of those electrons, and Resistance is what slows them down.
This glossary helps students learn complex vocabulary in a simple and visual way.
It’s especially useful for studying before exams, doing lab work, or reading technical books.
So today, I showed you my glossary and explained how it helps students understand electrical engineering vocabulary.
This project solves a real problem that many students in science face — learning complex words in English.
