I have been studying in this program for two years now, and I’m currently in my fourth semester.
In my program, I take courses like Electromechanics, Automation Systems, and Industrial Control.

After I graduate I hope to work as an automation technician or robotics engineer designing and maintaining intelligent machines for factories

However, a big challenge in my field is understanding and writing technical English correctly.

It's really necessary when reading manuals, writing lab reports, or explaining problems to clients.

That’s why I’m going to show you a website that can help: VirtualWritingTutor.com — specifically, the Glossary tool, which helps you learn and use field-related vocabulary correctly.

To use it, open a new tab in your browser and type VirtualWritingTutor.com in the address bar.
If you have typed it correctly, you will see the logo in the top left-hand corner of the page.
In the top right-hand corner, there is a link on the navigation menu to login.

In the middle of the screen, you’ll see a large text area where you can type.
In the bottom right-hand corner of the text area, you’ll notice a few icons that help with pronunciation.
And just above the text area, there are several buttons that allow you to check grammar, vocabulary, or even your word count.
To find the Glossary, scroll down a bit and click on “Glossary” in the menu.

Let’s say I’m writing a report about an electric motor, which is something we often study in automation.
Sometimes, I’m not sure how to explain a word like “sensor” in English.
So, I open the Glossary on Virtual Writing Tutor, and I type “sensor”
The glossary gives me tools for knowing the pronunciation of the word, his definition, his translation if I want to know them in my native language, and I can even find a picture of them depending on the context.

This helps me understand technical words and use them correctly in my lab reports or presentations.
It’s a simple way to improve my vocabulary and sound more professional in English.
