For those who don't know me, I am currently studying at Montmorency College in psychology. To be able to fluently talk with a patient and to write about him in English, I have to practice and the Virtual Writing Tutor helps me to understand my errors and correct them.
Because we are in school, and we have a lot of projects that include writings, in my book, it's important to have a proofreader to check our errors and our sentence structure. It's a goal for us students to have good grades at school. Nobody wants to look uneducated because of a small error in your text. We all want to succeed don't you think?
I know I have been studying English almost my entire life, but I know I'm not the best and I still need to improve my English.
I have gotten pretty good grades since I'm little in English because I try to practice the more I can. I also think I'm good at languages because I find it easier than others to learn a new language.
My plan here is to demonstrate and help you how to use the Virtual Writing Tutor. I'll show you how to correct the errors when you are writing a text.

Let me explain the problem, when we are at school, we have a lot of projects and homework to do. So we try our best to do it since we don't have all the time in the world because of timelines.
Because we don't have all the time in the world to do the projects in each course, it's easier to make errors and in consequences, the score is lower than what you are normally able to achieve.
For example, you need to make a text during you midterm in each course and you only have one week to do six of them.
That can be very difficult and stressful, but don't worry. I found the solution because of my teacher, thanks to her. Having a website that helps you with your grammar errors and your sentence structure is a must have during this time and The Virtual Writing Tutor is a great example of a website that can help us during our hard time.
First, you'll have to open your browser and then type virtualwritingtutor.com and hit enter.
When you are on the Virtual Writing Tutor web page, you can see at the top of the screen in the middle your text area. You can copy paste your text. After your text is complete, you can click on the button Word Count in the top left corner of the screen. You can also click on the button Check Grammar just at the right of the Word Count button. If you scroll down with your scroll bar, the website will tell you and explain your errors so that you can understand them and make fewer errors in the future. You can also score your essay by clicking on the score essay button and chose the type of your essay. You can see that there are a lot of buttons to help you correct your text.
Now here is where you want to find the solution to the specific problem I said earlier. If you click in the text area in the middle of the screen and write your text, then click on the button check grammar on the top left of the text area, you'll have the good correction. You can also have the word count at the left of the check grammar button.
So, if you have a pretty good number of texts to do in English in a small amount of time, be sure to use this website! I showed you how to use it correctly so you shouldn't have any problems using the Virtual Writing Tutor.
