Introduction

Welcome! My name is Abinaya Baskaran. I am in the program Social Science psychology. For those who don't know about my program, it is mainly focused on human behaviour and mental illness. I have 1 course of psychology per semester. They each focus on different types of human brain and behaviour.

Like every student, I want to get the best grades possible. Most of the time I lose points because of my grammar mistakes. I'm pretty sure that up to 70% of students lose their points because of writing mistakes. Even if we double, triple check, there will always be a mistake. It's hard to be focused all the way through writing, we are humans and humans make mistakes. It is unfair that most of the teachers expect only 0 to 4 writing mistakes. We all want to pass our classes and be successful! Everybody wants to see a good mark when they get their assignment back. Right? Of course, we do. But there are so many strict ways teachers use to correct our papers. No one wants to fail.

I have been learning English for only 4 years now, but I want to go to Uottawa University in Ottawa, so i'm planning to focus and improve my skills in this language. I'm not the best at talking and writing, but I can get by in english. I tend to talk to a few people in english on a daily basis.

I have been learning to write and speak English for the past 4 years. I’ve been taking a few English courses that are included in my program. In my last English course, last semester I got 75% as a final grade.
Instead of talking in my comfort language I’ve been talking in English with most of my friends.

The Problem

Let me explain the problem. By choosing a program that contains a lot of uncommon words there are high chances of making spelling mistakes. Before returning an assignment for a psychology or any other program it is definitely hard to not make mistakes and write all the uncommon words perfectly.
