Let me explain a situation that can happen a lot
when you observe a person, sometimes they can show a multiple symptoms that can leads to a mental health disorder
Even though in special education you don't have the right to pose to diagnose, but you make a hypothesis about the eventual disorder
You don't remember every sign, so the possibility to mix from others diagnose is frequent.
If you explain the wrong symptoms or to only know one diagnose
the person will not have the good medication, and can have bad repercussion in a long term.
For example, you observe a student that has the similarity with depression and anxiety but some months have passed, and now she was feeling on the top
Now you know that depression can be medicated and the person can lived a normal life, but also you figured that she was consistently over the top which it is not normal.
You know that it can any kind of mental health, but you don't know which one.
When you type the URL into the address bar and hit enter. You are in the home page. On the top middle of the screen, they have a search bar, and you type one symptom. When you enter the search, on the right side of the screen, they have a filter named refine result, and when you clicked on it, they had a lot of selection but for our case we select the option mental health disorders. When you slide down, in the bottom middle part of the screen, you can see the page.
You can type all the symptoms you have observed.
When you search any symptoms
they have given a full list of every kind of mental health issue.
For our case, we think that she might have bipolar because of depression episode and the maniac episode
This is for people who study in specialize education or a related field on how you solve the problem when you have a lot of symptoms ,but you don't know what mental health it can be.
With the website Merck Manuel, it's easy to have a better idea.
