Many students today are concerned about the rising use of AI in schools, especially when it comes to cheating and plagiarism. I’m with you...it’s a real issue.

I will be honest with you guys. I’ve sometimes felt the temptation to use AI tools to finish an assignment faster.
But I’ve also learned that this shortcut weakens your skills in the long run.

As a Social Science student, I’ve written many essays, done a lot of research, and learned how important academic integrity is in both education and future careers.

My goal today is to help you recognize when a text was written by AI , how to detect it and see if the student really did that work. You are going to use an online tool called Virtual Writing Tutor.

I want you to take academic honesty seriously. I hope you'll use this knowledge to make better decisions about your own learning.

Stick with me at the end of this video, I’ll show you a simple trick that takes less than a minute and works surprisingly well.

In schools today, many students are using AI tools like ChatGPT to complete their assignments. This problem is growing fast, especially since AI is so easy to access.

If this continues, students will stop developing their writing and thinking skills. It also makes grading harder for teachers and damages the value of real learning.

For example, some students just copy and paste AI-generated essays and hand them in. But if everyone starts doing that, how can a teacher know who really understands the subject?

Luckily, there’s a solution. I’m going to show you a free tool that can analyze a text and tell you if it was written by AI.

First of all, open your browser and go to the website, type this URL: VirtualWritingtutor.com on the address bar and hit enter. If you typed the URL correctly, you will see this page.

At the top left, you’ll see the Virtual Writing Tutor logo.
On the right, you’ll find the settings menu.
In the center of the page, there’s a big text box. That’s where the magic happens.
Just below that, you’ll see different options like “Grammar Check,” “Vocabulary,” "Writing tools" and most importantly “Detect GPT.”

First, I’m going to open a new tab and go to ChatGPT.
I’ll ask it to write a short paragraph on a topic—for example, “Why recycling is important.”
After getting the AI-generated text, I copy it.
Then I go back to Virtual Writing Tutor and paste the text in the large box in the middle.
Next, I click on “Detect GPT” in the menu.
The system loads for a few seconds and then gives a result like: “This text appears to be AI-generated.”
It’s that easy and extremely helpful for both students and teachers !

Today, I showed you how AI-generated texts can be a problem in education and how you can use Virtual Writing Tutor to spot them in under a minute.

Please use this tool wisely. Whether you’re a student who wants to stay honest or a teacher trying to keep things fair, don’t let AI replace your voice.
