Hi everybody, my name is Hariti Abdelrahmane, and today I’ll show you how you can use a great online grammar checker. I’ve
been studying Computer Network and Security Technology at Ahuntsic College for two years. This program focuses on configuring
networks, maintaining systems, and ensuring the security of information. In this field, technical accuracy and clear communication are
important.
In the field of IT and network security demands clarity and precision in expression. This will be particularly important while writing network reports, sending security updates, or emails. Grammatical spelling mistakes can only evoke confusion or even allow security problems to arise. For example, while explaining some issues in the network or breaches in security, bad grammar or spelling can make things quite cumbersome to comprehend.
That is why I want to show you Virtual Writing Tutor. This tool will help you check grammar and spelling mistakes to make your writing more transparent and professional, so that you can communicate better.
Let’s start. Open a new tab in your browser of choice and type in the search bar: virtualwritingtutor.com.
At the top, you have different icons for each of the tools when the site opens. On the left side is the logo, and on that is the menu for navigation along with its various features. In the middle of the page is a large box into which you will paste or type the text you wish to check. On the right side of this text box, you will see a button saying improve writing and others, but today we are going to be using the grammar checker.
Let me show you how this "Check Grammar" feature will work. Assuming that you are writing some report about an issue related to a network, and you start typing: "The fire wall didn't block the suspicious activity because of a misconfiguration." The two spelling mistakes here are "activite" and "misconfiguraton." These mistakes could be confusing, particularly in business scenarios. The solution is to click on the button labeled "Check Grammar". The system will highlight in red all parts of the text that show grammatical mistakes. For example, it will suggest the Spell check: "activity", "misconfiguration." Then, your writing sounds clearer and professional.
Here is a brief overview of how Virtual Writing Tutor works. This tool can help any IT professional with professional writing.
