Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Zachary Rheaume and I have got a wonderful video for you today.

Everybody wants great scores in their writing, don't you think? I know I want to, and so do you. I'm sure.

I'm not an expert of this site, but I have been doing a lot of research and practice on this site feature that I have improve greatly my knowledge.

I have been exploring and researching on this feature for seven weeks now, and got a pretty decent grade in a glossary that I've created two weeks ago.

By the end of this screencast, I will have shown you an easy way to make your own field-related online glossary.

Get ready to follow this tutorial, it'll only take three to four minutes of your time. Make a commitment to watch this completely for a maximum of results.

It is surprising what you can do on this website to help you improve significantly your job-related writings.

The Problem

After graduation, most of the graduates will start working in a job related to their own specific branch of studies. They will now be confronted with new and complicated words that they didn't learn or see in school.

If you are not explaining yourself correctly with the right terms, you could make a bad impression and this could harm the cohesion of a company.

Imagine during a presentation or in your writings, you are wrongly using some specific terms, you might risk being confused and not explaining your ideas properly. You'll lose credibility and confidence resulting in poor progress in you tasks.

This can be very frustrating and discouraging, but don't worry I know a tool to help you solve this problem and gains back confidence and impress your colleagues, clients, superiors, etc.

The Quest

To get started, Type this URL in the address bar of your navigator and press enter on your keyboard. You should see this page of the website "Virtual Writing Tutor", if not make sure you typed the URL correctly.

In the top right corner you should see this "Log in" button, click it. Afterwards, on the top of the page, there is the navigation menu, click on Writing Tools, a menu should open, and click on Glossary Creator.

The Solution

Now here is where you create your own glossary with the new and complex words you've encountered on your job for a better understanding of them. First give your glossary a name and click New glossary. After giving your glossary a title click the edit button of each section and add the necessary information. Each section has a shortcut button to help you find your information faster, for example in the definition section there is this button that can automatically search for the definition of the term. When you've finished writing your sentences, use the button Check Grammar to find and correct your errors. After completing a section and checking your grammar, click on the third button "Save" below your text. Once you think your glossary is completed, click on Publish on the right side of the screen to publish your work online.

The Conclusion

I promised I would show you a solution to help you improve your field-related language by creating an online glossary on the website, "Virtual Writing Tutor". Here it is.

I hope this screencast was useful, make sure to share it with your friends and relatives. Thanks for watching.
