Hello everyone! Hi!
Welcome to my screencast. My name is Gabriela Ramirez. I am in health science in CEGEP Ahunstic. For those of you who don't know about the program health science, this program is a combination of multiples' sciences. There are four main sciences, physics, math, biology, and chemistry. I chose this program because I always liked science. Especially, a medical related science so more chemistry and biology. That is why I chose health science because in the future I would like to become a surgeon. I don't know yet what type of surgeon I want to be but at least I am pretty sure I want to be in the field of surgery and this program helps me to get to know more my future field and his difficulties.
I got to admit even right now I got the same difficulties as the surgeons. The vocabulary is so complex especially in biology and nobody wants to have embarrassing errors in their writing. I certainly don't because I will use this vocabulary my whole life. If you are like me, you want them to disappear. Everybody needs helps like tutoring from time to time. Its so easy to make mistakes or just not pronounce well the word. We all want to be the best at our game. Am I right? But the obstacles are many to overcome.
I've only been in this program 2 years, but I can't wait to be in medical school, so I am really motivated to improve and have good tools for me to succeed in medical school. Maybe, I am not the best student, but I am pretty much motivated to become greater. I'm not an expert to this, but I have acquired good tricks that help me with this type of problem.
I've been improving myself for many years. My last biology I finished with a 92%. I have worked so hard to be the best. Trough the years I have acquired the tricks that help me get those grades.
I'm going to share ones of my tricks with you to help you get the best grades and help you in your future field. My goal is to demonstrate how to use virtual Wrinting Tutor to get the perfect writing. My plan is to show the perfect solution to when you have difficulties pronouncing a word or even write it.
Stay right here. Don't leave. It'll only take 5 minutes. Get ready to follow my step-by-step tutorial of how to make a glossary in virtual writing tutor.
First, let me explain the problem. Let's say we graduated from medical school, and we are resident now. We have to treat patient, write in the chart of the patient, we have to do reports, and many other things. When we are at work we have to use complex vocabulary and explain and write a report about it. Plus, you have a lot of patient so a lot of report and don't have that much time to do it. when the patients are seen to be treated, you need some way of explaining the terms in a simple way.
If you don't know how to pronounce correctly the word, the patient won't understand, and maybe they will think you don't know what you are talking about. If you can't explain well the terms, you will lose credibility, and the patient will be scared.
For example, you need to do a report and write difficult terms for you. Virtual Writing Tutor could help for those terms. Take for instance, you have an English patient that has a rare disease that you have difficulty pronouncing and explain it, virtual writing tutor could help with that.
In the next few minutes, I'll show you exactly how to solve those problems.
First, open your browser. Type Virtual Writing Tutor.com into the address bar and hit enter. If you typed the URL correctly you will see this page, to make sure you should see the bog logo in the left top corner of your screen. IT should be writing in big Virtual Writing Tutor. You will have four icons on the right top corner. That is where you could find this page. Finally you will have the menu bar in blue at the screen's center.
Now here is where you want to go fint the solution to the specific problem I mentioned before.
You will go to the screen's center where is the navigations menu. You will see in this area the section of writing tools. This area is the one that interesse us. You click on Writing tools, and scroll to the third section where it says Create my glosseary.
So, if you are in a medicine or a related field, that's how you solve the problem of pronouncing or writing certain terms.
I hope that was useful to you because I need you to do something for me. Before I finish, I want you to take a moment to share this tutorial on social media. Maybe, it will be your turn to help someone out. Thanks for watching.
