Hi everyone and welcome. My name is Catherine Dauphinais, and I am a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care student at Ahuntsic College. I’ve been studying in this program for 3 years. The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care field is about taking care of others in health situations and transporting them to a hospital. This program focuses on how the human body works and most importantly, how it malfunctions.
Being in this program includes a lot of hard work and determination. It is hard mentally, psychologically and physically. Sometimes, it is hard to find the time and energy to focus on every course and do everything right.
Being a paramedic means having to write a lot of intervention reports, and sometimes this task is underrated and often neglected. These reports are the only thing your employer will see about your intervention and writing them correctly is essential for your reputation.
Using the tool I will present to you, I've obtained a 90% on my last writing exam.
My goal is to help other students perform academically.

You'll be surprised how a simple website can change your professional life.
For example, while studying in the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care field, you have a lot of reports to write about simulated interventions.
Sometimes this task can be hard and correcting your grammar is not your priority.
Making grammar errors in these reports can make you lose a lot of points.
This kind of situation can be easily avoided and I'm going to show you how.
First, open your browser and write ‘’Virtualwritingtutor.com’’ on the address bar at the top of your screen.
The home page will open and in the top left corner you should see the logo of the website. You will also see a big square in the middle of your screen in which you can enter your text. On the bottom, you will find the explanations on what the website is and how it works.
Luckily, you won’t have to read this because I will be telling you everything.
Here you have two options, either you write your text directly in the blank box in the middle of your screen or you can copy and paste a text previously written. After doing that, you can click on the blue box with ‘’Check grammar’’ written inside. This will instantly open a feedback section underneath your text. The feedback box includes a word count, which can be really useful. It also gives you your error density. Most importantly, it gives you a clear list of every mistake you made. After correcting your text using the suggestions given in the error profile, I suggest you press the ‘’Check grammar’’ button again just to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything. You can also click on the microphone to hear how to correctly pronounce the words.
In conclusion, writing a text the right way makes you a credible employee, which is crucial in the health related field because you need people to trust you.
