Hi everybody welcome to my Youtube channel, for those of you who don't know my name, my name is Cassandra and in this channel I will talk about my field of study which is psychology.
I am in my last semester of college, so I can give you an idea of the courses you will need to take if you want to get into this program and become a psychologist like me.
If you just finished high school, to get into this program you only need your high school diploma. Once you in this program you will have to take courses like statistics, anthropology, research classes such as practical introduction to methodology in the Social Sciences and of course you will have psychology courses. At the end of your college year you have the choice to choose if you want to continue in the psychology field. If you do, you need to go in university and complete your baccalaureate, your mastery and your PhD. And the final stage to become a psychologist is to get into the order of the psychologist.
Like every student or workers it is hard to deal with all you have to do in one day, sometimes you feel like 24 hours is not enough and like you I'm struggling to organize my time. Sometimes, it causes me to not finish my things like I wanted to. I'm sure that I'm not the only one to be stressed and to lose more time worrying about the thing that I didn't do rather than make a plan to be less disorganize.
During your years of college and university you will have to do a lot of research project and wrote these like a doctoral these. Those research or complex, so you will need to use a professional vocabulary that show that your research is trust able and that you made an effort. Moreover, it will be important that you know and learn the signification of the words you are using, so you can master your field of study.
Using the wrong words in your projects can change the meaning of the research and can cause you to lose points in your projects.
It can also make you look bad in front of your teacher if you are in an advance stage of your studies. You should be able to use complex words and know their meaning. It can also cause you to give wrong information to your readers or your future patients
For example, imagine that you do a presentation of your research to a public that is not familiar with the psychology vocabulary, and they need you to explain to them some of the words you used. You need to know the signification of those worlds, so you can teach others and look professional.
