Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Kalya Chateauneuf, and I am currently studying police technology. I’m in my second year and third session of a three-year program with six sessions, and I can’t wait to learn more about this awesome field of study.

In this program, we have theoretical, practical, and physical courses. For example, we have a course on criminal infractions, where we learn about the criminal aspects of policing. We also have a course on young delinquents and those in difficult situations, where we practice our interventions with individuals under 18 years old.

Additionally, we have physical courses, such as swimming and autonomy, where we are required to do some sports outside of school three times a week to stay in shape.
One of the most attractive things about this program is that you have many career options. Of course, you have to start as a patrol officer, but you can easily move up the ranks. Sure!
For instance, you could become a detective specializing in sexual crimes, a dog handler, or an undercover agent, and those are just a few of the exciting options available to you. Isn’t it amazing how many choices you have?

Like any police officer, I want to avoid looking unprofessional by making silly mistakes in my english writing. Who wouldn't want to maintain a strong reputation?

I’ve been studying English since the first grade of high school, and I also listen to music and watch movies in English to improve my skills.

I have always maintained an average of over 90% in my English classes.

The Problem

As a police officer, you have to write reports after some arrests, and some of them will be presented in court as testimony. The problem is that you want to be taken seriously in court, so it’s important to write an error-free report!

Some police officers don’t take the importance of error-free reports seriously. If you don’t do this, the court may not take you seriously either, which could undermine the evidence against the criminal and potentially lead to their release.

Imagine you go to court to watch a trial, and they project a report filled with errors for everyone to see. You would find it amusing because it’s ridiculous, and the credibility of the police would be diminished in your mind, and in the judge's as well!

This is why today I will show you the perfect solution, which is a virtual writing tutor that can help you write without errors.

The Quest

First, open your browser; I’ll use Safari. Type "virtualwritingtutor.com" in the address bar. If your URL is correct, you should see this page.
If we take a quick look, we can see the logo in the top left corner of the screen, and in the top right corner is where you can log in. Just under the logo, we can see the navigation menu, and below that, we have the instructions. At the bottom of the screen, there is the footer menu, and in the middle of the screen is the text area where we will enter our text.

The Solution

For example, when we write a report, I will write something plausible. So I’ll type in the text area as if I were writing my report:

I took the victim's declaration. She said that the suspect was wearing a gray hoodie and had a firearm and pepper spray in his hands.

To correct your errors, click on "Check Grammar," scroll down, and your errors will be displayed. For those who didn’t know, like me, "firearm" doesn’t have an "e" at the end, and "pepper spray" has two "p"s. So after that, you can write error-free reports.
