Hi, my name is Jaël and I will show you how to use an online grammar checker. I've been studying in Biology for 3 years at Ahuntsic College. I just applied to University in Biology and I would like to become a Medical Biologist. It's someone who does research in laboratories and make discoveries to help medicine advance.

In that type of job we have to know how to write many complicated words related to Biology and it will be a challenge because we have to make laboratory reports where we describe every detail of a research, which means various complicated words related to Biology.

Not having a good vocabulary can be viewed as unprofessional it can make someone loose credibility in the job.

In this video, I will show you how to use Virtual Writing Tutor in a way that can increase your ability to have a good vocabulary and more specifically, know more easily how to write work-related words.

We start by opening the website. In the address bar at the top of the screen in the middle, type the URL Virtual WritingTutor.com. In the top left corner of the screen you can see the logo of the website and just under it there's the navigation menu. In the middle of the screen you can also see different blue rectangles. These are tools for writing and the one that is the most useful for me is the check grammar because it helps me with the complicated vocabulary in Biology. When you click on it, it shows you how many words, paragraph, errors and density of errors you have. Here you can see that I only have one error, and it's with the word cell, and we can already see it gives me the word in suggestions. With this website, I can easily find complicated words, it is really helpful for anyone who has difficulty with the vocabulary in a work field.

So now, I am able to write complex words related to Biology with the help of this website. That's why I find it useful and I hope many students will use it because it really helps to be better with vocabulary even if you are not an expert in your work field.
