Hi, my name is Abd Errahmane El Hadiri I'm presenting my glossary about electrical engineering.
This glossary is intended for students in the field of electrical engineering who wish to learn or master the keywords of this discipline.
It was created because, despite their increasingly solid or even already well-developed skills, future technicians have not yet mastered the vocabulary specific to this field. Fortunately, this will greatly enhance their ability to communicate, which will facilitated teamwork.
electric current
noun
Electric current is the flow of electric charge per second entering a wire or a conductive element. Its unit is the ampere.
Example: Substituting (3) into (2) we get: (4) The electrical resistivity of a material defines how well the material opposes the flow of ELECTRIC CURRENT.
fr: le courant est le flux de charge électrique par seconde qui traverse un fil ou un élément conducteur. Son unité est l'ampère
resistance
noun
Resistance in a circuit is a component or quantity that prevents electrons from passing through or slows down their passage. Its unit is the ohm.
fr: la résistance dans un circuit est un composant ou une grandeur qui empêche les électrons de passer ou qui ralentit leur passage. Its unit is the ohm
voltage
noun
The voltage is used to determine potential difference or electrical tension. The voltage is the force that causes electrons to move in a circuit. Its unit is the volt.
Example: Because DC can't be transformed, we'll have to use lower VOLTAGE all the way through. This means the gap between any conductor and insulated frame need not be bigger than a few millimetres, although the static and passing gaps formed by the Heath and Safety Executive enforce 75mm and 25mm gaps respectively, for a VOLTAGE up to 750v. VOLTAGE Level We need to come up with a VOLTAGE that will be suitable for traversing down a length of wire without too much power loss, and then power a DC motor of similar VOLTAGE.
fr: la tension sert à déterminer la différence de potentiel. La tension est la force qui provoque le déplacement des électrons dans un circuit. son unité est le volt
