beam
noun
Beams (plural of beam) most commonly refer to long, thick pieces of wood or metal used to support weight in buildings, or lines of light shining from a bright source.
Example: The BEAM may not have been totally perpendicular to the supports.

bitumen
noun
Bitumen is a thick, black, and sticky form of petroleum that acts as a heavy binder. It is solid or semi-solid at room temperature and turns into a liquid when heated.

concrete
noun
A strong composite material made by mixing cement, water, sand, and aggregate like gravel or crushed stone.
Example: The college buildings are constructed primarily from glass and CONCRETE.

A foundation is the underlying base, physical support, or fundamental principle upon which something is built or develops.
Example: Any understanding of this structure has been based largely on its FOUNDATION trenches and similarities between its ground plan and another arsenal in Peiraieus (Pounder, 1983: 233, 238).

Infrastructure refers to the basic physical and organizational systems, structures, and facilities needed for a society, country, or organization to function properly.
Example: Unfortunately renewable energy sources do not have the capabilities to support the current population and INFRASTRUCTURE.

plans

A plan is a detailed proposal, method, or set of steps designed in advance to achieve a goal or complete a task.
Example: At this point local residents may view the PLANS and comment on them.

steel
noun
Steel is a strong, tough metal alloy made primarily of iron combined with a small amount of carbon, typically ranging from 0.02% to 2.1% by weight.
Example: STEEL demand dropped from 20 million tonnes in 70s to 13.9 million tonnes in 2000.

A structure is the way parts of an object, system, or organization are arranged, connected, or built together to form a whole.
Example: A STRUCTURE with different materials that is spatially dependent on material properties, Irregular geometry, Complex boundary conditions.

wood
noun
Wood most commonly means the hard, fibrous structural tissue found in the stems, branches, and roots of trees and shrubs.
Example: They also found evidence for frequent rebuilding and although re-erecting new buildings from the same timbers also took place, there had to be undoubtedly enormous amount of WOOD used to build these houses over the centuries.
