A thick mass of blood that can block a vessel

A substance used to enhance the contrast of structures or fluids within the body in medical imagined.

Adjective
Located farther from the point of origin or attachment of a structure,usually sused to describe anatomical position.
Example: The distal radius is a common site of fracture when falling on your hand

Hemorrhage
Noun
The escape of blood from a vessel
Example: A hemorrhage can be seen on a CT scan very quicky

Escape of fluid or contrast from vessels
Example: Leakage may indicate severe vessel damage

A layer that covers or surrounds an organ.
Example: Inflammation of the lining can be seen on the image.

A reduction in the size of a passage in the body.
Example: Narrowing of a vessel can reduce blood flow.

A complete blockage of a blood vessel or passage that stops normal flow.

Position close to the center of the body or point of attachment.The opposite of distal
Example: The proximal humerus forms part of the shoulder joint.
