A person or thing that transports or communicates something.
Example: All the mineral is being transported on the conveyor.

noun
A natural, unusually high concentration of minerals, elements, or rocks within the earth’s crust.
Example: Mines in the north of Quebec have some of the biggest gold deposit.

verb
Produce (a hole) in something by or as if by boring with a drill.
Example: To make the shaft we must first drill a big hole.

dynamite
noun
A high explosive consisting of nitroglycerin mixed with an absorbent material and typically molded into sticks.
Example: I like using dynamite and blowing stuff up

The process of supplying someone or something with items necessary for a particular purpose.
Example: In the mining industry there are multiple different types of equipment.

The action of excavating something, especially an archaeological site.
Example: Some mines are what we call an open pit, which is basically just a big excavation.

The action of taking out something, especially using effort or force.
Example: Once we've blasted the ore the next step is to extract the mineral from the rest of the rock.

A deep narrow vertical hole, or sometimes a horizontal tunnel, that gives access to a mine.
Example: To be able to visit the mine we have to go down the shaft.

Example: There is a lot of heat during the smelting process.

Example: In this mine there is a very big gold vein.
