I am in my first year in Social Science, and after I want to be a physical education teacher. I am really passionate about teaching and sports so a PE teacher is a job that fits me well. I wrote a 20 words glossary about this subject to facilitate the understandings of certain terms in this field.

Activity
A thing that a person or group does or has done.
Agility
Ability to move quickly and easily.
Assessment
The evaluation or estimation of the nature, quality, or ability of someone or something.
Balance
An even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.
Cardio
Physical exercise of low to high intensity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process.
Coordination
The ability to use different parts of the body together smoothly and efficiently.
Curriculum
The subjects comprising a course of study in a school or college.
Feedback
Helpful information or criticism that is given to someone to say what can be done to improve a performance, product, etc.
Fitness
The condition of being physically fit and healthy.
Flexibility
The ability of a joint or series of joints to move through an unrestricted pain free-range of motion.
Inclusion
The action or state of including or of being included within a group or structure.
Pedagogy
The method and practice of teaching, especially as an academic subject or theoretical concept.
Rules
Sets of explicit or understood regulations or principles governing conduct within a particular activity or sphere.
Safety
The state of being protected from harm or other danger.
Skill
The ability to do something well.
Speed
The rate at which someone or something can move or operate.
Sportsmanship
Fair and generous behavior or treatment of others, especially in a sports contest.
Strength
The quality or state of being physically strong.
Teamwork
The combined action of a group, especially when effective and efficient.
Warm-up
A period or act of preparation for a game, performance, or exercise session, involving gentle exercise or practice.
