Hi, my name is Abdelkarim Bendaouia, and I am studying Natural Sciences at Collège Ahuntsic in Montréal. I created this glossary to help students who are beginning their science courses or who are planning to join this program. Natural Sciences includes biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, and many of the terms we use come from English scientific textbooks and lab manuals. These words can be confusing for new students or for anyone studying science in a second language. This glossary provides clear definitions, French translations, useful examples, and simple explanations that can help anyone understand scientific vocabulary more easily. I hope this glossary will support other students and make their learning experience smoother and more enjoyable.
