Hi, my name is Emerick Lanthier and I have been studying at College Ahuntsic for two years now. I do a technique in in Computer Science for three years, so I have one more years to do. I create this glossary to for students or people interested in Computer Science. This glossary helped to understand what 15 words related to Computer Science means. Each word will have a definition, an audio pronunciation, the translation and the part of speech to help people understand, and example of how we can use the word in a sentence.

Short for artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is a field of science concerned with building computers and machines that can reason, learn, and act in such a way that would normally require human intelligence or that involves data whose scale exceeds what humans can analyze.
Example: The most interesting application in the current age, is embedding AI technology into robot.

A process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer.
Example: The key has 64 bits, however only 56 of these are actually used by the ALGORITHM.

A minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed.
Example: The images were processed and separated into the individual PIXEL elements. The location and colour value of this PIXEL was then stored in a zero based 3D array.

A device that forwards data packets to the appropriate parts of a computer network.
Example: ROUTER and switch configurations, firewall rules and programming, server access, restrictions, and policies are all important and disruption or change to these could cause the operation of the internal network, or the connection to the internet (and thus customers) to be threatened.
