Automaton
noun
A machine that performs a function according to a predetermined set of coded instructions, especially one capable of a range of programmed responses to different circumstances.
Example: The automaton need an update if we want to use the new option.

Cabling
Noun
A group or system of electrical cables, esp for telecommunications or computing
Example: I made the cabling of this system.

Engine
noun
A machine for converting any of various forms of energy into mechanical force and motion

Engineer
Noun
A person who designs, builds, or maintains engines, machines, or public works.
Example: This machine was made by a good engineer.

Multimeter
noun
An instrument designed to measure electric current, voltage, and usually resistance, typically over several ranges of value.
Example: Can you use the multimeter to see the voltage?

Network
Noun
An interconnected or interrelated chain, group, or system.
Example: The connection must be made between this network

Programming
noun
The process or activity of writing computer programs.
Example: We made all the programming of this machine yesterday.

Regulation
Noun
A measure of change in the voltage magnitude between the sending and receiving end of a component, such as a transmission or distribution line.

Relay
Noun
Relays are electrically operated switches that open and close the circuits by receiving electrical signals from outside sources.
Example: The relay is defective.

Robot
noun
A machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically, especially one programmable by a computer.
Example: We use the robot to carrying a box.

Sensor
Noun
A device that responds to a physical stimulus (such as heat, light, sound, pressure, magnetism, or a particular motion) and transmits a resulting impulse (as for measurement or operating a control).
Example: The heat sensor is defective.

Technician

A person employed to look after technical equipment or do practical work in a laboratory.
Example: Call the technician to fix this machine.
