AC power supply

Alternating current (AC) power is the standard electricity format that comes out of outlets

Battery
noun
a container consisting of one or more cells, in which chemical energy is converted into electricity and used as a source of power.
Example: As this is a BATTERY-powered drill there will likely be little residual space in the handle considering the size of BATTERY packs usually placed at the base.

Closed Circuit
noun
Example: A large number of the recommendations proposed enhanced training for flight crews and more frequent safety checks of the planes but other examples of recommendations included: Using CLOSED CIRCUIT Television (CCTV) systems so flight crew members can monitor internal and external parts of the plane.

DC power supply
noun
A DC power supply converts AC power from a standard outlet into a stable DC power source.
Example: We need a DC power supply for the dvd player

an instrument for converting sound waves into electrical energy variations which may then be amplified, transmitted, or recorded.
Example: DTMF was designed to be able to send the codes using MICROPHONE.

the product of the torque that the motor generates and the angular velocity of its output shaft.
Example: It generates a power of 0.5 hp which was very small compare with the engines OUTPUT POWER nowadays

Power supply
noun
an electrical device that supplies electric power to an electrical load.
Example: The BL-730 module requires a 5 V POWER SUPPLY, and draws a maximum of 120 mA.

Transmitter
noun
a set of equipment used to generate and transmit electromagnetic waves carrying messages or signals, especially those of radio or television.
Example: Error detection is the ability to detect errors that are made due to noise or other impairments in the course of the transmission from the TRANSMITTER to the receiver.

Volt
noun
the SI unit of electromotive force, the difference of potential that would drive one ampere of current against one ohm resistance.
Example: For stopping voltages under 1 VOLT the scale went 0 - 1 V every 0.001 V.

an electromotive force or potential difference expressed in volts.
Example: By incorporating the gauges into a bridge circuit, this change in resistance can be converted into a VOLTAGE.

noun
the SI unit of power, equivalent to one joule per second, corresponding to the power in an electric circuit in which the potential difference is one volt and the current one ampere.

Wireless
adjective
using radio, microwaves, etc. (as opposed to wires or cables) to transmit signals.
Example: These op-codes are detailed in the microcontroller section of Chapter 1.5.3. 1.5.2 Communications Link Since the Satellite Scoreboards are intended to be used near or on the same table as a judges' laptop there is no need for WIRELESS communication to the Satellite Scoreboards.
