The topic is psychology because I study psychology at the Cegep. That's glossary be hopeful for the people study psychology in English. Psychology it's a like medicine.

agoraphobia
A disorder involving anxiety about situations from which escape would be difficult.
axon
Structure attached to a nerve cell that sends out signals away from the nerve cell.
bipolar disorders
A mental health condition that affects someone's moods, so that they can sometimes feel very depressed and at other times very excited and energetic.
cognitive development
The development of thinking capacity.
defense mechanisms
Behaviors that protect people from anxiety.
endorphins
A chemical naturally, released in the brain to reduce pain, that in large amounts can make you feel relaxed or full of energy.
frequency
The number of times per second a sound wave cycles from the highest to the lowest point.
frontal lobe
One of two round parts at the front of the brain, that help control behaviour, learning, personality, and movement.
hypothalamus
A small part in the brain that controls things such as body temperature and the release of hormones.

A part of the forebrain that helps to control the pituitary gland, the autonomic nervous system, and body temperature.
ions
An atom or small group of atoms that has an electrical charge.
lobotomy
A medical operation in which cuts are made in or near the front part of the brain.
narcolepsy
A medical condition that makes you go to sleep suddenly and when you do not expect it.
neuron
A cell that carries information between the brain and other parts of the body.
neurons
Nervous system cells that communicate.
projection
A defense mechanism that involves attributing one’s own unacceptable thoughts or feelings to someone else.
stimulants
Drugs that stimulate the central nervous system.
subject
An individual person or animal that a researcher studies.
synapse
The junction between the axon of one neuron and the cell body or dendrite of a neighboring neuron.
thalamus
One of the two oval-shaped parts of the brain that control feeling and all the senses except for the sense of smell.
