This glossary is about police technology. This is the future career that I want to do. This job is for enforcing the laws, preventing crime, protecting people life and property and many others important things. The people who work in this drive a withe and black car with car siren on top. This job is essential in the community, because without police officer many people will not respect the laws. I made that glossary for help knowing some of the word that police officer use. This glossary will help you understand many term that they use every day. In general, the words in this glossary are useful in this job and they use them often during work.

- arson
- The act of intentionally or recklessly causing damage to property, via fire or explosion.
- assault
- The direct or indirect application of the force to another person, or the attempt or threat to apply force to another person, without that persons consent.
- autopsy
- Dissection of a body to determine the causes of the death.
- beat
- A beat is a designation for the specific territorial assignment or district of a Patrol Division officer.
- bike theft
- The act of taking another person's bicycle. Bike theft figures represent the number of vehicles stolen.
- declaration
- An explicit, formal announcement, either oral or written.
- exhibit
- A document or other object produced in a court as evidence.
- fruits of a crime
- Property stolen or embezzled, or that which is obtained or acquired as a consequence of the crime.
- homicide
- A person commits homicide when, directly or indirectly, by any means, causes the death of a human being.
- incident
- A criminal incident involves one or more related offences that are committed during a single criminal event and have been reported to the police.
- jail
- A place for the confinement of people accused or convicted of a crime.
- juvenile
- A juvenile is a person of less than 18 years of age, or any other person under the continued jurisdiction of the juvenile court.
- law
- The system of rules that a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and mays enforce by the imposition of penalties.
- pepper spray
- A chemical compound that irritates the eyes to cause tears, pain, and temporary blindness.
- robbery
- The act of stealing, and for the purpose of extorting whatever is stolen or to prevent or overcome resistance to the stealing, using violence or threats of violence to a person or property.
- sector
- A sector is a designation for a group of beats.
- squad
- A squad designates an element consisting of one or more employees with a special functional responsibilities and subordinate to a division or unit. A squad is commanded by a sergeant or supervisor.
- victim
- A person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident or other event or action.
- violence offences
- Involve the use or threat of violence against a person, including homicide, attempted murder, assault, sexual assault and robbery.
