- archives
- A collection of records providing information about a place, institution, or group of people, preserved for their enduring value.
- attitude
- An enduring, learned predisposition to behave in a consistent way toward a given class of objects, even, or people.
- centration
- The tendency to focus on only one aspect of a situation, problem or object.
- communication
- Imparting or interchange of thoughts, opinions, or information by speech, writing or signs.
- culture
- The learned patterns of behavior and thought that help a group adapt to it's surroundings.
- disposition
- A natural or acquired habit or characteristic tendency in a person or thing.
- equality
- The state of being equal. In status, rights, and opportunities.
- evidence
- The available body of facts or information indicating whether something is true or valid.
- insight
- The capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing.
- observation
- The action or process of observing something or someone carefully or in order to gain information.
- qualitative research
- The gathering of data by observing behavior such as conversations, nonverbal communication, rituals, displays of emotion--behaviour that cannot easily be expressed in terms of numbers
- quantitative research
- The gathering of data that can easily be expressed in numbers and therefore analyzed using statistical.
- realism
- The quality or fact of representing a person, thing, or situation accurately or in a way that is true to life.
- report
- An account or statement describing in detail an event, situation, or the like, usually as the result of observation or inquiry.
- social constructs
- Conceptions of things based on common perceptions by members of a society, not objective reality.
- social media
- Online tools that allow people to create, share or exchange information, ideas, pictures and videos in virtual online communities.
- social norm
- Socially accepted rules of behaviour and conduct which are prescribed by society and expected of an individual by that society.
- statistics
- The study of the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data.
- stereotype
- A fixed notion or conception of people based on their group identity.
- variables
- Factors or conditions that affect or may affect the know behavior of an individual or a group.
