It is important to remember some of the basic words and meanings of certain types of concept in the Business management program. However, our brain is designed to forget and this little glossary is here to help you whenever your memory decide to fail you.
Accounts receivable

Refer to the money a company's customer own for goods or services they have received. As you understood, this is money that a customer didn't give yet to the company.
Acquisition

The process of one company buying most of all selling new shares of a private company
Analytics
noun
Data from variety or sources used to inform marketing efforts
Example: The main goal of business analytics is to extract informations that are only necessary to reinforce our marketing

A balance sheet is a financial statement that shows the company a summary of the financial balances. It's often used in financial accounting and described as a "snapshot of a company's financial condition".

How often people visit your website and leave without clicking on anything
Example: Our mission this year is to reduce our bounce rate by changing the look of our website

Core competency
noun
A core competency is a defining capability or advantage that distinguishes you from your competitors.
Example: Our core competency in this company, which is our reliability, is why we are successful today.

Deliverable
verb
A product or a service developed by a business. It's a final product given to the client at the end of a project. It's the action to "send" the product to the client.
Example: These containers of our products are the only ones that are deliverable at the moment.

Digital marketing

Example: Our consumer seems to see more of us on the internet than anywhere else this year because of our digital marketing

noun
Any digital or online content that changes based on data user behaviour and preferences
Example: Now that our website has been completed, after only one purchase the website will save the preferences of the customer when he's going to shop on our website. This way we're increasing our chances to sale a product.

A way for small business owners to buy the right to open and run a business from a bigger company.

A synonyme would be dept. So liabilities are depts, usually sums of money, that the business owns to another entity

noun
Is profit from a product or a service after all expenses have been covered. Often referred to as a percentage.
Example: We only was able to reduce our liabilities by the margin of 2% this year.

Monetize is making money from a product, service or any activity.
Example: We may need to monetize your website with advertising or affiliate products.

Niche market

Ia a very specific segment of a larger market.
