Acidosis
Adjective
Acidosis is a condition in which there is too much acid in the body fluids.
Example: Formulation of the patient's problem(s) Mr has developed severe community-acquired pneumonia which has led to type 1 respiratory failure and acute respiratory ACIDOSIS.

Example: The treatment uses cold packs and intravenous fluids to quickly cool a patient's body.

ECG

A test that records the electrical activity of your heart, including the rate and rhythm.

A space between the bones of the skull in an infant or fetus, where ossification is not complete and the sutures not fully formed. The main one is between the frontal and parietal bones.
Example: there was a space between the bone and called fontanel.

noun
A hormone formed in the pancreas which promotes the breakdown of glycogen to glucose in the liver.
Example: For example both infection and respiratory failure would promote secretion of GLUCAGON, cortisol and catecholamines.
