This glossary is for my English course. This is to make you understand what we do in our program, and perhaps it might be of interest to some of you.

A product
It's a noun
A product is an article or substance that is manufactured or refined for sale.
Example: Today we are selling our brand-new product. It is a new pencil.

A service
It's a noun
A service is assistance or advice given to customers during and after the sale of goods.
Example: We give some service to help the customer.

Accounting
It's a noun
Accounting is the action or process of keeping financial accounts.
Example: Today I go accounting to be up to date with the company's invoices.

Agenda

Agenda is an appointment diary.

Business suit

Business suit is clothes that are suitable for work in business, consisting of a jacket and matching trousers or a skirt
Example: Today, I need to wear my business suit, because I will meet some new client

Calculator

A calculator is something used for making mathematical calculations, in particular a small electronic device with a keyboard and a visual display.
Example: In marketing, we need our calculator because we calculate our survey

Communication
It is a noun
Communication is the imparting or exchanging of information or news.
Example: In our program, we need to know how to communicate, because the communication is the key.

Competition
It's a noun
Competition is the person or people with whom one is competing, especially in a commercial or sporting arena; the opposition.
Example: In our future job, particularly in sales, we are in constant competition.

Computer

Computer is an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program.
Example: I need my computer every day at school

Customer

A customer is a person or organization that buys goods or services from a store or business.
Example: The customer is always right

Desk

A desk is a piece of furniture with a flat or sloped surface and typically with drawers, at which one can read, write, or do other work.
Example: At home, we have a desk because we need to work after school.

Human resources are the department of a business or organization that deals with the hiring, administration, and training of personnel.
Example: In human resources, it can be complicated to deal with the problem of the employee.

Marketing

Marketing is the activity or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising.

Oral presentation
It is a noun
Oral presentations are forms of effective verbal communication that may be accompanied by slides. It is critical that you do not read your slides as your presentation; slides help you make a point, but do not replace your verbal communication.
Example: I have to do an oral presentation today in class.

Pen
It's a noun
Pen is an instrument for writing or drawing with ink, typically consisting of a metal nib or ball, or a nylon tip, fitted into a metal or plastic holder.
Example: In our program, we need a pen to take notes every time

Presentation board
It is a nominal group
Presentation boards are used to identify the theme, mood, or spirit of an idea. The best presentation boards fuse visual and verbal elements into a vivid image.
Example: During our oral presentation, we use the presentation board as a visual aid.

Publicity
It's a noun
Publicity is the giving out of information about a product, person, or company for advertising or promotional purposes.
Example: In publicity, we can do a lot of things, like you can do print, radio and TV advertising.

Sales

The sales are the exchange of a commodity for money; the action of selling something.
Example: In our future job, most of the people will need to sell something like a car.

A supplier is a person or organization that provides something needed such as a product or service.
Example: In the job that we will do after our school, we will need to deal with some supplier
