This glossary has been created to help you understand the program of professional theater in acting and certain words related to them.

Audition

It's a noun, pretty common in the acting world.

an interview for a particular role or job as a singer, actor, dancer, or musician, consisting of a practical demonstration of the candidate's suitability and skill.

Example: I can't see you today, I have an audition to enter the program of theater at Saint-Hyacinthe.
