Ancient
Adjective
Belonging to a very distant past and no longer exist.
Example: In the ancient days, motor vehicles did not exist and men used to depend on animals as a mode of transportation.
Civilization
Noun
An advanced state of development of a society based on laws, culture, language and technology.
Example: Civilization changes and improves with advance technology.
Community
Noun
A community is a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.
Example: I grew up in the community of Glades Gardens and cannot wait to visit again.
Delta
Noun
An area of low, flat land, sometimes shaped like a triangle, where a river divides into several smaller rivers before flowing into the sea.
Example: The Delta area was surrounded by trash up so we cleaned it up.
Early Man
Adjective
An Early Man is a term used to describe the ancient men known as hominids whose lives were lived a simple way without technology or civilization.
Example: The Early man ate more vegetables and hunted for food.
Emergence
Noun
To be seen or to emerge after being concealed.
Example: Africa had an emergence of wealthy black people now settling in communities.
Gatherer
Noun
A gatherer is someone who collects or gathers a particular thing.
Example: Mr. Henry is a Gatherer who collects rent from the store.
Hominid
Noun
A Hominid is a member of a group that consists of humans, chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans, or an early form of one of these.
Example: Hominids have evolved over the years as their brain power increases which resulted in civilization.
Hunter
Noun
This is a person or animal that seeks to find something for a specific purpose.
Example: The Hunter almost caught the deer but he got distracted by the howling wolves.
Nomad
Noun
A person that travels from place to place to find fresh pasture for its animals and has no permanent home.
Example: A Nomad never settles in a city for more than two months.
Nomadic

Living the life of a wonderer (Nomad)
Example: John lived a nomadic life for years then finally settled down when he got married.
Organized Government
Noun
This is a document that lists beliefs and laws by which a country, state or organization is governed. framework. Also a set of ideas or facts that provide support for something. government. the group of people who control and make decisions for a country, state, city, or group.
Example: A country requires an organized government to ensure that rules and regulations are adhered to.
Prehistoric
Adjective
Pre-historic refers to very old information that was never written or recorded.
Example: The entire community is rich in prehistoric monuments.
River Valley
Noun
A river valley is a valley formed by flowing water, called fluvial valley or river valley and is usually V-shaped. The exact shape will depend on the characteristics of the stream flowing through it. Rivers with steep gradients, as in mountain ranges, produce steep walls and a bottom.
Example: The River Valley in Richmond is suitable for farming.
Sedentary
Adjective
This refers to a lifestyle involving little exercise or physical activity.
Example: My mom wants me to do more outdoor activities and complains that my life is too sedentary.
Sedentary Community
Adjective
This term refers to the act of living in one area for a long time without moving.
Example: Olive Grange is considered a Sedentary Community as people have been living there in excess of 50 years.
Specialized Occupations
Adjective
Someone or something that is specialized is trained or developed for a particular purpose or area of knowledge.
Example: A computer Engineer can be considered a specialized occupation based on the skill required for such a job.
