Bottom of the funnel
The bottom of the funnel represents the last stage of the buying process. This is when the buyer has identified a problem, researched possible solutions and is getting ready to buy. At this stage, buyers are typically requesting either a free demo or consultation & beginning a conversation with a sales rep.
Brand positioning
Brand positioning is the way you differentiate yourself from your competitors and how consumers identify and connect with your brand. It’s comprised of the key qualities and values that are synonymous with your company.
Churn rate
Churn rate is a measurement used to calculate customer retention and is significant for recurring revenue companies. It helps companies identify how many customers they lose in a given time period.
Customer lifetime value
The Customer lifetime value is the predicted net profit associated with the future relationship with that customer.
Ebook
Ebooks are a common type of content that many marketers use, often to help generate leads. They are generally a more long-form content type than, say, blog posts, and go into in-depth detail on a subject.
Editorial Calendar
It's like a road map for content creation, showing you what kind of content to create, what topics to cover, which personas to target, and how often to publish to best support your strategy.

Growth Marketing is the process of designing and conducting experiments to optimize and improve the results of a target area. If you have a certain metric you want to increase, growth marketing is a method you can utilize to achieve that.
Hero shot
A hero shot is the primary video or picture businesses display on a website's landing page. It helps the website's visitors get a perception of the feeling they may express when they take the business's offer. Companies use this image to infuse the right mood and communicate their product's values to their website's visitors.
Ideal customer profile
An ideal customer profile is a hypothetical description of the type of company that would reap the most benefit from your product or solution.
Inbound marketing
Inbound marketing is a customer-centric approach that focuses on drawing high-fit customers in as opposed to blasting your message to anyone and everyone.
Sender Score
An email marketing term that refers to a reputation rating from 0-100 for every outgoing mail server IP address. Mail servers will check your Sender Score before deciding what to do with your emails. A score of over 90 is good.
Services operations
Service operations includes management of all the workflows, tools and processes required to maintain and improve the overall customer experience.
Unique Visitor
A person who visits a website more than once within a period of time. Marketers use this term in contrast with overall site visits to track the amount of traffic on their website. If only one person visits a webpage 30 times, then that web page has one UV and 30 total site visits.
Word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing
WOM marketing is a form of brand promotion that results from happy customers sharing their customer experience with their contacts. It can be organic or a targeted effort from a company. This form of marketing is relatively free and may result in additional sales. Businesses generally benefit from this promotion by increasing customer satisfaction and offering high-quality products and services.
Workflow
A workflow is another way to describe a lead nurturing campaign. It’s a set of triggers and events that move a lead through the nurturing process. A workflow can also serve other purposes, such as adjust contact properties on a lead record based on certain conditions, or adding a contact record to a certain list.
