Graphic and Geography

Geography is a highly visual subject and is complemented with the use of multimedia resources. Audio-visual resources have been effectively used at tertiary institutions to support teaching and learning in geography. Visual presentations are integral parts of geography education, for example imported digital images, PowerPoint presentations, satellite images via the World Wide Web. However, one should be cautious to not only reply on multimedia without text, since research has also revealed that text is more advantageous as the material becomes more complex. This highlights the important advantage of text for the presentation of complex material.

Graphic and multimedia

Every multimedia presentation is based on graphics. The used graphics in multimedia makes the concept more effective and presentable. The commonly used graphics editing software is Adobe Photoshop through which graphics can be edited easily and can be made effective and attractive. Technology has helped to come along with scientific advancement and to make best use of their possibilities with aid of cumulative human’s keen effort. Many educational institutions have developed their own curricula over the World Wide Web with aid of multimedia facilities. Multimedia has been one of the main edges of scholars interested in computer programs and internet software due to the increasing advancement in communication technologies. It uses computers to enhance the ability to process different kinds of date, figures, letters, symbols, motion images, sounds and others to provide human beings with different advances and increase the interaction and communication in the different life aspects. Multimedia is the best way to deliver information in an integrated system based on technologies. We can complement the information and present it clearly on screen. When the presentation succeeds in presenting the message, with all its meaning, quickly and clearly, the learner becomes able to see the details clearly and easily. We also have a variety to use the simplicity and difficulty at handling the different ideas, ways, and media for presenting the same base or concept to be learned. The learner is also consistent with screen and other application. There is also an interactivity between learner and programmers with a binary which is a direct response. History lessons have become more active and learner-centered with respect to ICT integration and the use of multimedia resources in teaching and learning at schools.

Graphics History

A Pictorial Drawing is an image of an object (actual or imagined) viewed as it would be seen by someone who looks at the object either in a chosen direction or from a selected point of view.

As the industry became more fundamentally connected to technology, and innovative tools began to advance, the field of graphic design has begun to evolve. In the beginning, designers were artists who sketched shapes and concepts based on current trends like the modernist graphic design movement. In simple terminologies, graphic design is the art of blending ideas, images, and text into something that involves and educates the viewers. It’s about linking through visuals. It may require using the distinctive mind-set of symbol shapes to attract an explicit audience.
