Police Technology is a field of study for the future law enforcement. To be more specific, Police Technology is especially for police officers in Quebec. Quebec is the only province in Canada that ask for a three-year diploma and a 15-week specific training before becoming a police officer. Because of this process, Quebec has one of the best police in the world.
In this glossary, you will find terms that police officers frequently use in their work. I have tried to put pictures to help you understand each term. I want you to read and practice all the term pronunciations and try to figure a verbal intervention where you will use the term and make it all in English!
Alibi

Defense based on the fact that one was, at the time of an offense, in a place other than the one where it was committed.
Example: A man is found dead in a park there are two suspects both of which claim to have an alibi which is backed up my others.
