In the following glossary we will deal with various synonyms that we saw during the first semester.
Complaint

a statement that something is unsatisfactory or unacceptable.
Example: The first teacher, Y alleges is prejudiced against her because she had previously made a COMPLAINT (that was later dismissed), about his behaviour towards her.

Not harmful to the environment.
Example: According to the authors, environment, economy, regulations and standards forced companies to develop a product

friendly, helpful, or cooperative feelings or attitude.
Example: As an example, in developed countries, an export subsidy is given in order to protect their producers in the international market from the competition of other countries, poorer countries, where the cost of factors of production, such as labour or land, is much cheaper and as a consequence, also the final price of the GOOD WILL be lower.

Noun
the care, cultivation, and breeding of crops and animals.
Example: Animal husbandry practices range from dehorning cattle to prevent injury to herd-mates and farm hands to methods for housing livestock, providing adequate nutrition, devising breeding strategies, and managing pets that live in the household.

Intermittency
Noun
In dynamical systems, intermittency is the irregular alternation of phases of apparently periodic and chaotic dynamics (Pomeau-Manneville dynamics), or different forms of chaotic dynamics (crisis-induced intermittency)

Noun
a person who brings a case against another in a court of law.
Example: In Red Bank Manufacturing Co v Meadows , the PLAINTIFFS argued that the original decision reached by a tribunal had been biased as one of the panel members had appeared to fall asleep, much similar to Y's situation.

Verb
say or estimate that (a specified thing) will happen in the future or will be a consequence of something.
Example: Whilst some of these forms of screening are diagnostic, many PREDICT 'risk', determining whether the tested foetuses have the propensity to develop certain genetic conditions.

to pass again through a series of changes or treatments: such as. : to process (something, such as liquid body waste, glass, or cans) in order to regain material for human use.
Example: Then much of the energy required for heating to the sterilizing temperature is RECYCLED from within the processing system and thus save the production cost.

Slaughter
noun
The killing of animals for food.
Example: Stunning. As the slaughter process begins, livestock are restrained in a chute that limits physical movement of the animal. Once restrained, the animal is stunned to ensure a humane end with no pain.
Stunning also results in decreased stress of the animal and superior meat quality.

Example: Porters 5 forces analysis will be used to analyse this Power of SUPPLIERS This is low in the industry. A few large organisations are the purchasers, and they can exert their power over SUPPLIERS.

is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs
Example: However recent research has claimed that suggestions that the left hemisphere is exclusive in language representation are 'no longer SUSTAINABLE
