Supply and demand : is the amount of goods and services that are available for people to buy compared to the amount of goods and services that people want to buy.
Example: If less of a product than the public wants is produced, the law of supply and demand says that more can be charged for the product.

Tanning is the action or process of converting animal skin into leather by soaking it in a liquid containing tannic acid, or by the use of other chemicals.
Example: The archaeologists also discovered a pit used for the tanning of animal hides.
