The quality or state of being correct or precise

noun
A line which marks the limits of an area; a dividing line
Example: Every country has its own boundaries

Field
noun
An area of open land, especially one planted with crops or pasture, typically bounded by hedges or fences
Example: This field is barren & vast

Geodesy
noun
the branch of mathematics dealing with the shape and area of the earth or large portions of it
Example: I studied Geodesy in high school

Geoid
noun
A hypothetical solid figure whose surface corresponds to mean sea level and its imagined extension under (or over) land areas
Example: Earth is not a sphere but a geoid

GPS
noun
An accurate worldwide navigational and surveying facility based on the reception of signals from an array of orbiting satellites
Example: We can use GPS in here, the sky is wide and clear

hydrographic
noun
The science of surveying and charting bodies of water, such as seas, lakes, and rivers
Example: We will need to perform hydrographic measurements

Landscape
noun
all the visible features of an area of land, often considered in terms of their aesthetic appeal
Example: The landscape in here is beautiful.

Leveling batten

It is usually a 2m or longer batten with measures on it, either made of iron or or similar element.
Example: Can you hold the leveling batten still?

The use of photography in surveying and mapping to ascertain measurements between objects

Precision

The quality, condition, or fact of being exact and accurate

Recorder
noun
A person who keeps records
Example: Can you call the recorder to me?

Reflection prism

A transparent polygonal solid, often having triangular ends and rectangular sides, for dispersing light into a spectrum or for reflecting and deviating light
Example: Can you hold the reflecting prism still?

Surveyor

A person who examines the condition of land and buildings professionally

Tripod

A three-legged stand for supporting a camera or other apparatus
