short description in your profile that tells people who you are

The act of looking through a set of information quickly, without a specific sense of purpose.
The term may imply a sense of aimlessness, with the user just wasting time on the internet
Example: My sister just spent three hours browsing the web because she was bored.

the act of creating a false internet profile in order to deceive or scam someone
Example: My grandma got catfished by a woman yesterday because she sent her her card information.

Example: They decided to censor the article about the accident for younger or sensitive audiences.

Content whose main purpose is to attract attention and encourage visitors to click on a link to a particular web page
Example: Facebook last month announced it was clamping down on such worthless clickbait stories and links.

emoji

a small digital image used in social media/ emails/ text to display an emotion, object or idea; smiley face, sad face etc.
Example: I love this new emoji, it shows your friends that you are smiling widely.

noun
the place to view the posts that are created and shared by the people, groups, or pages you follow on social media. The feed also includes ads from organizations that you may not be actively engaged with; used on Instagram, Twitter and LindedIn
Example: My feed is full of DYI videos.

Example: I started following my new friend on Instagram.

hashtag

used to add keywords or topics to a post on social media to help you relate your post to a larger discussion; anyone who searches for a specific hashtag sees a list of all the posts that include the hashtag - usually the most popular posts appear at the top of the list
Example: Her post got more popular because she used hashtags, so people can find it easier.

person who posts negative or critical comments about others; sometimes their critism is offensive and unfair
Example: My friend is getting very rude comments under her post by one hater.
