20 Basketball terms

My name is Omar Ahamed I am 18 years old and this is my third semester in Social Science. My glossary mostly concerns basketball players. As it as done for me, basketball can be a way for young teenagers to get away, and even to solve life problems. In this glossary I included 20 words that surrounds basketball. I used internet to choose words that remind me the most about my topic and the for definitions. I would like you to try to put yourself in the skin of a basketball player to feel more deeply my chosen words.

Alley-oop
Noun
A high arc pass to a teammate in a position near the basket to leap and score.
Example: He did an alley-oop.

A pass that sets up a score.

noun
A player approaches quickly from behind a defender toward the basket.
