"To fall within the framework" defines To fit within a certain range, category, or parameters.
Example: The CMA’s falls within the framework of an ongoing investigation into the risks of green washing, when companies show off a product as sustainable whereas it is not the case, and results from concerns regarding the way the companies’ products are presented as respectful of the environment.
