I am doing this glossary to learn more English vocabulary and more generally to improve my knowledge of English and be able to translate specific terms. This glossary will mainly contain economic and legal vocabulary.
To make this glossary I used a lot the website of the Cambridge Dictionary which is a very intuitive and easy-to-use tool. (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/fr/)

The crime of moving money that has been obtained illegally through banks and other businesses to make it seem as if the money has been obtained legally.
Example: Authorities plan to limit cash deposits of dollars at bank counters as a measure against money laundering.

Something that we can't control, hold.
Example: Wind is intermittent and non-dispatchable, meaning it cannot be relied upon to produce electricity when needed.
